Milan Special School District Health Clinic is open to all MSSD school-aged students, all MSSD staff and immediate family members for sick visits, sports physicals, well child exams and acute medical care. Call 731-686-3201 to schedule an appointment. The clinic is located at MES.

Due to increasing student and staff sickness across the district, Milan Special School District will be closed on Tuesday, November 22,2022. We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, November 28.
We will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 23 - 29th. Each day, the students will do an activity to Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free! Monday-Sign a banner in the cafeteria during lunch. Tuesday-Make a paperchain against drugs. The students will write down one thing they want to do instead of drugs. Wednesday-Color a key for your future during lunch. Thursday-Wear Red/ SGA sponsored skating party at the skating rink 6-8 pm. Students can buy tickets for $5 during lunch. This event is only open to Milan Middle School students. Friday-Decorate the Door Against Drugs- Homeroom contest for the best door. 1st place: pizza party and teacher gets a $50 Walmart card. 2nd place: $25 gift card and 3rd place: $15 gift card.

Picture re-takes will be Friday, October 21st. This will be for students that were absent on picture day or are new to the school, as well as Boys BB, Girls BB, Cross Country, and Color Guard. Parents who want to purchase picture packages will have to prepay. Order forms and money will be given to the photographer the day of. If you have multiple children at the school, please use a separate order form and separate the payments for each child.
